Toxic leaders are among us just like stray dogs in Bucharest. They bite without warning. They bark without reason. They make friends for a piece of bread and bite you again the next day. They do their stuff in the middle of your project on your papers and claim there is nothing stinky in the room. I wonder if recognize other elements in your toxic leaders.
A toxic leader always blames others for his lack of success. Instead of assuming responsibility, he proves some sort of paranoia: “it’s X or Y’s fault!” “they’ve lied about me!” etc.
I think I should have written “toxic managers”! What do you say?
